Hopefully we're friends with the next murderous thug who ascends the throne.

Fox News sounded panicky over it, IMO. Surely this situation was already being examined, given his age.

The British government and the Royal Family are facing a huge backlash after flags over state buildings and palaces were flown at half mast this morning as a mark of respect for Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, who died yesterday.

Perhaps Rupert Murdoch and the Faux Snews crew are worried that Saudi Prince Alwaleed (second largest shareholder in News Corp) will change his mind about his investment.

Murdoch is Australian so he would not have anything to do with the House of Windsor.

Interestingly, the next King of Saudi Arabia is the son of a slave woman--she must have been good looking if a rich man took her for a slave and allowed her to have a baby by him:

Now that Abdullah is dead, Crown Prince Salman takes over. And Salman is due to be succeeded by Crown Prince Muqrin. But… “his prospects are often questioned because he was born to a Yemeni rather than a Saudi mother of “approved” tribal lineage.”

I wonder what will happen to the Saudi's policies of torture, beheadings and funding terrorists?

Guess it doesn't really matter they'll always be Washington's BFF.

We're all about protecting human rights and spreading democratic values around the world, yo.

Oh, every country has had allies that they knew were barbaric. We allied with the Russians during World War II and they double-crossed us and murdered Gen. Patton. Carter went and deposed the Shah and he got us radical Islamic terrorists instead.

Maybe this son of a slave woman will be a breath of fresh air....

Oh, every country has had allies that they knew were barbaric.

But not every country has been as dishonest and hypocritical about it as we have been.

We allied with the Russians during World War II and they double-crossed us and murdered Gen. Patton.

Now we're allied with Islamic terrorists in Libya and Syria and neo nazis in Ukraine.

Carter went and deposed the Shah and he got us radical Islamic terrorists instead.

The Iranians deposed the Shah because he was a tyrant dictator installed by the CIA after it carried out a bloody false flag terrorist attack to overthrow an elected president during a republican administration. It would be nice to pause history at a convenient time to lay all the blame on a democrat but it doesn't work that way in the real world.

Maybe this son of a slave woman will be a breath of fresh air....

And maybe our government will declassify the 28 pages of the 9/11 report that some in congress who have read them claim shows ties between the Saudi government and the 9/11 hijackers.

But I doubt it.

Backwards Clintons Praise Saudi King’s “Humanitarian Efforts”

In a remarkable statement, Bill and Hillary Clinton have expressed their sadness over the death of their “personal friend” King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, praising his “humanitarian efforts” and even ridiculously suggesting that he helped the plight of women in the country.

While the world has reacted with disgust as Western leaders expressed praise and sympathy over the death of a self appointed butcher ruler, the Clintons issued their own backwards statement.

“I had many dealings with His Majesty during and after my presidency, as did Hillary both inside and outside the State Department,” Bill Clinton’s portion of the statement read.

“And we are grateful for his support of efforts for peace in the Middle East; our close economic cooperation; the Kingdom’s humanitarian efforts around the world; especially its contributions after the earthquake in Haiti; and his efforts to modernize Saudi Arabia’s economy and education systems – as embodied by King Abdullah University, the Kingdom’s first coeducational institution of higher education,” it also said.

“Hillary and I are also grateful for his personal friendship and kindness toward our family and we join the Saudi people in mourning his loss and send our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family,” the Clinton statement said.

New Saudi king vows to continue predecessor’s policies

King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s successor and half-brother Salman promises to follow in the footsteps of the late Saudi monarch.

"We will continue adhering to the correct policies which Saudi Arabia has followed since its establishment," Slaman said in a televised speech on Friday.

Looks like Al Qaeda and ISIS won't have to worry about any funding shortfalls after all.

church mouse guy...everything hinges on whether the father acknowledges the child. If they follow other Arab state, the woman is a vessel for a child, she does not have legal claim on that child. I wonder were they get their slaves from? Christians?

His mother was a slave from Yemen according to the press. --cmg.

A Ruthless Tyrant Dies in the Desert and Western Leaders Trample Over Each Other to Sing His Praises.

The Saudi regime has come under severe criticism here at Liberty Blitzkrieg over the last couple of years for several reasons. First, more and more evidence has emerged concerning Saudi Arabia’s role in the attacks of 9/11. A role that both the Bush and Obama administrations have gone out of their way to conceal. In late 2013, I published a post titled, Two Congressmen Push for Release of 28-Page Document Showing Saudi Involvement in 9/11.

Here are some excerpts:

< snip >

Considering we have given up so many civil liberties in response to that horrible tragedy, you’d think it might be appropriate to declassify documents showing one of America’s closest allies had ties to the attacks. You’d think that, but you’d be wrong.
