Thank you! I also was one of his E-Mail victims.

I use to be a K.J.O,
After lots of studying I have learnt several things.First of all with all the newer translations, you can get Saved, ex: John 3:16.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT? yes,you can!
Secondly, The people who condem these bibles, you are condeming God! NOT everyone can understand the K.J.V. it was that lang of that time! Fact!
I like the K.J.V but some of the early lang, I cant understand. Ex: Rev.
What gives the person the right, to say God did wrong, tring to let us understand His Word, in a English, that we all can understand?
People, your forgetting one thing here!
if the bibles dont sound the same, they still mean the same,or God didnt preserve His Word! The translaters were all human,or did you forget that!
I could tell you a things about the K.J.V where you could put in Question. But I wont for all those K.J.O people. You would be shocked!
The important thing is God has given us His Inspired Word through our BIBLES!
Thank you for sharing this with us. I hope to see more of you on this message board.

How did I miss out on this singular honour? I guess "Hail Satan and pass the NIV" freaked him out.

I was worried about how I missed it as well, but then realised I don't show my e-mail address on my profile - he would have had to go to my website to get it.

Let it be known that I do NOT consider most KJVOs to be like "Bynum". He's definitely a badly-misled dude whom we should pray for.

My apologies to all for quoting verbatim one of his posts which violated the rules of the board. I am ashamed of myself, and I ask Jesus Christ to forgive me, for I have sinned.

I believe I'm done in this thread.

I forgive you, and that is my only authority in the matter. I'll agree with the man's zeal, but I know he broke the rules, rather blatantly and without excuse. I believe he should at least tried to deal with yall in a satiricle way. But that's just my "method". Oh, God! Pleaee help me? Now I'm admitting my Methodist influences! I am an IFB, btw, and rather righteously proud of it!

Tim, what is your attitude here? I thanked a Moderator for editing your "mouthful" problem on this BB. Tim, you sound like Gail Riplinger.

You defend the KJV. So am I. Look at Will J. Kinney. I did not see his negative attitude on this Bible version discussion. I like to read Will's posts and answers. Will defends the KJV, too.

You sent your private message to me. It is very negative.

I realize that what attitude did some groups of the KJVO have on this BB. Let me give you 2 things:

1. Some KJVO have awful attitude on Bible version discussion such as Gail Riplinger. Are you one of them?

2. Some of KJVO are humble on this BB such as Waite or Strouse. I am one of them.

This Bible version discussion is for a discussion without nasty mouth or hot temper to criticize someone.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Jesus isn't and neither are we.

Yes, I received a rather ridiculous pm from him, afterwhich he blocked me from sending him pm's. Is anyone else a victim of this type of tactic?

I stopped responding to him via email or pm. He's starting so many threads with all the same thought. I looked up his church. Looks like a normal church.
