QS, I agree with you. We can either use our sword like a surgeon's scapel, or we can use it like a switchblade.
There is a lot of responsibility that goes along with the calling.
And i too often have to double check my motives.

I can appreciate what you say, and your stance on the KJV. I was there two years ago.
I still am KJV preferred. I love it. I just feel now that it is not a sin to use a NIV, when I have to. My youth group loves the NLT our church bought them. They are reading it and using it. Even at school. For some of them, that's a big step. I'm proud of them. Not me, them.
I have seen a lot of spiritual growth in the last month in a few.
One question they are tackling right now (that I might post somewhere else) is
How do you define eternity without using any concept of time.
This is important when discussing the free will/predestination issue. (where were going next)
