Do we live in the Kingdom of God now just a little, trying to follow the commands in the scriptures as we are able and look forward to the future kingdom where we shall see or how does it really work?
For now we see through a glass, darkly;
but then face to face:
now I know in part;
but then I shall know
even as also I am known.
1 Corinthians 13:12
Do we acknowledge the spiritual now but still follow the material?
How else could we not?
*Jesus is Lord but we still have to eat so we work and do what is necessary:
He provides. Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
*Jesus is Lord but we still have to wear clothes and bathe (at least most of us):
We put on Christ and He cleanses our daily sin as we confess. Colossians 3:10 ...and have put on the new man
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
*Jesus is Lord but we still need to protect from attack:
He watches our safety closely: Psalm 145:20 The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
There are more questions but won't they come up later if this thread develops?
