This essay list above is way too high for me. Good perhaps for someone who lives the life 24/7.

I need ideas in simple terms for my simple mind.

Like this issue:

For though we walk in the flesh,
we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God
to the pulling down of strongholds)
2 Corinthians 10:3-4

This causes many problems and has been discussed on this forum.
A literalist might come to think of those verses as a ban on physical weapons for Christians.
Another might say yes but that is for spiritual warfare only.
When someone physically attacks, speaking bible verses to them will not pull them down.
And we have a responsibility to protect our loved ones, right?
Overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21) does not work in a flash of a second.

Sort of the middle might be:

If it be possible,
as much as lieth in you,
live peaceably with all men.
Romans 12:18

Hello SGO

When God draws any of the elect savingly, He draws the whole man to the whole Christ which makes the disciple a law keeper;
isa.2
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

We are not law-keepers for justification, but grace leads to law keeping, which spreads from inside the believers, to their neighbors, and ultimately spreads to all nations, rulers, those in authority.

make an outline of the previous post, see how it fits into ot. prophecies being explained in the nt.

The teaching of the Kingdom is stretched out over 66 books. It will take some effort to uncover it.

there are no short cuts, you must invest prayer and time in scripture. Do not try and solve the puzzle all at once or look for one verse to solve it.
Look at the 4 major end time positions, see what issues are raised by the Kingdom .

"SGO,
Do we live in the Kingdom of God now just a little, trying to follow the commands in the scriptures as we are able and look forward to the future kingdom where we shall see or how does it really work?
Col1

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Patrick Schreiner offers this on pg66.
The ideal King was to lead the nation in a flourishing life full of wisdom, knowledge, and a fear of the Lord.
If the prophets zoom in on the covenant stipulations, then the writings examine LIFE IN THE KINGDOM.
We have charted how the Kingdom was established with Adam and Eve as King and Queen, corrupted through the rival Kingdom of the Serpent and his children, revived through the promises to Abraham, and foreshadowed in the Davidic Kingdom.
Each piece of the wisdom literature teaches the citizens of the Kingdom to walk in the ways of the Torah
Each writer who wrote on these things failed in their tasks, their writings lean forward to a day when a new King will be the people's wisdom and righteousness.
