No matter who made the decision, it's a goof. Easter didn't exist when Luke wrote "Acts" & in his time, pascha meant only passover.

Yes, it is. Please tell us why you think it's not.
You like modern, you should love" Easter. "
You holding a double standard there. I don't think it's a hill you want to die on.

Guess it depends on which definition of archaic you want to use.
It's all about strict definitions.

Not a good at all. Not an ideal translation, but not s good. I am sure it was thought out and the decision made to use Easter. Good would be an accident.

Not archaic at all.
I meant goof instead of good. Dang autocorrect.

So the Lord didn’t faithfully make sure we had a perfect word of God? We had to wait for the ESV?
By you logic, why did past generations have to wait for the KJV?
I honestly prefer KJV, but I use others as well.
I need you to explain to me why KJV is perfect if the 11 English Bibles that predate it were not.

I am not sure if it is my statements you disagree with or with the scriptures. I just quoted what the scriptures stated and made some logical deductions.
.

I do not disagree with what the Scriptures actually mean.
You misunderstand and misinterpret statements in Scriptures because you try to take a figure of speech [personification] literally, and perhaps because you may be trying to find a way to justify your non-scriptural KJV-only opinions. You also take statements concerning the original-language Scriptures given by inspiration to the prophets and apostles and perhaps assume by use of the fallacy of begging the question that those statements supposedly are true of the KJV.
