    I'm sorry, bapmon, I realize this has upset you and I had no intention of adding to your discomfort. I do not believe that the OP is real and it is not worthy of serious response. My respect and honor for the Bible has no bounds. One of my all time top 5 songs is "The Bible Stands" and it has this verse in it:

    The Bible stands like a mountain tow'ring
    Far abve the works of men;
    Its truth by none ever was refuted,
    And destroy it they never can.

    My shield of faith has no problem protecting me from this fiery dart, think Nerf dart.

    This is an offensive thread, and it is an attack on one particular version of the Bible. For that reason there is no reason for this to continue. The thread will be closed.
