    Mrs. Winkler,
    I'm sorry you feel that way. All you are being asked to do is what every person on here is asked to do - keep posts on a particular topic germane to the particular topic. No need to take it personally.

    Please PM me so we can discuss this privately, as per BB rules.

    Yes, I think I understand your sentiments. I be-
    gan to have doubts and stopped telling others
    about doing this.

    There is, however, a site in which, it is said,
    when one goes into it, for each time one goes in,
    a Bible is given to the needy. I have No Concept
    how this works, if it legitimate, or who is giving
    the Bibles. Further complicating my knowing, I
    am completely computer-illiterate. If I put the
    address here, would anyone be able to tell us
    * If this is legitimate
    * How it works
    * Who is the real sponsor?

    Another question: I know a lot of Baptists are
    KJV only. Other than that idea, I have run into
    a lot of people with extremely limited reading
    abilities as well as children who are just plain
    uninterested in reading the Bible. Although my
    supply is presently depleted, I used to keep a
    bunch of "The Story Book Bible" (one done with
    highly colorful drawings, in the style of a comic
    book) to give them.

    I have been amazed at the accuracy of the
    stories in this book, and those I have given
    them to are reading them. What do you think
    of giving these to people with extremely limited
    abilities and to uninterested children? What do
    you think might be the pros and cons of this?
