How does one know from Romans 1 without believing it? You can't.romans 1?
Romans 1 says they know. but they hid it in their heart..How does one know from Romans 1 without believing it? You can't.
thank you. this is the point I also was trying to make.God has communicated to people in various ways.
One way he has reveals himself is through his creation (Psalm 19:1; 50:6).
Paul in his epistle to the Romans wrote:
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” (Romans 1:18–20, ESV 2016)
Paul tells us that all "ungodly and unrighteous" people [and "all have sinned..." Ro. 3:23] are condemned because they know of him;
"They are without excuse" because they know.
Yet knowing of God doesn't save them. They need more, they need the Word of God.
The Word came to the Israelites in many ways (Hebrews 1:1).
But now the Word has been fully revealed in Jesus, the Messiah. That Word is the Good News we share to the world.

Oh they had beliefs.Romans 1 says they know. but they hid it in their heart..

19 Thou believes that there is one God; thou does well: the devils also believe, and tremble.How? Give explaintion.
YesOh they had beliefs.
Romans 1:19, Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Romans 1:18, For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; . . .
. . . who hold the truth in unrighteousness; . . .
a good noticeWhat we call "belief" is faith. This is more than just a cognitive acceptance of information. It is the difference between what James called a dead, useless faith (or belief) and a faith (or belief) unto salvation.
Faith = belief.there is belief that has no faith
and their is a belief that full of faith
I can believe and not have faithFaith = belief.
Belief = faith.
Noun = noun.
verb = verb.
What are the two verbs or two nouns per the NT?I can believe and not have faith
