but Laura really handled this all wrong. The idea is to get some child as the face of the campaign, deliberately call the child a "survivor" even if he wasn't even at school that day, put him out to pimp gun control and anything outrageous or obscene the kid says to dismiss as "well, he's a kid" even though he's talking about a very adult subject. Then she criticized the kid, then the kid who bullied the shooter called her a bully, and then all these sponsors drop her show and then Laura apologizes.

That was her biggest mistake, the left does not take apologies as a sign of anything but weakness. Junior rejected the apology and now he wants her head on a platter. As for Laura, she's going to take a scheduled vacation and she hasn't commented further on this. The kid wants her show cancelled and cancelled now.

I can understand all their motivations, even Master Hogg's, except for the sponsors. Just who they think watches that show? It's not the same bunch egging him on for sure.

Agree. I'm all for apologies, but she did nothing wrong. People apologize for the silliest things these days.

Well that's one way to put it.

Ted Nugent is hardly a good representative of constructive engagement with the issues. I don't care for the Parkland student rallies either, but there's plenty of constructive critique that can be made without alleging that they have "no soul." Cindy Sheehan comes to mind. They couldn’t get enough of their useful idiot, until they did. When she became an obvious embarrassment she couldn’t buy her way on their shows. We’re about there already for this dude.

That's another thing that bothers me about that Hogg brat - he rails against the NRA, NRA members, Donald Trump, and Laura Ingraham and others but never once has blamed Cruz for the shooting or the failure of the school system and his father's employer once. Not once.

Over fifty times they were warned and that one little gun-grabber, the bald girl admitted to bullying the shooter but that's all okay because "he deserved it". But what's really pathetic is that everyone knows these poster children for gun control but not the students that actually died that day, or the people that died trying to save them. Baby Hogg better hope Cruz doesn't testify for himself at his trial.
