Latest Poll that Trumpies Can Deny

Donald Trump trails Hillary Clinton by 7 percentage points among middle-income voters in the Rust Belt, a key demographic he almost certainly needs to become president.

Likely voters with annual family incomes of $30,000 to $75,000 in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin back Clinton over Trump, 46 percent to 39 percent, the latest Purple Slice online poll for Bloomberg Politics shows.

The findings should sound an alarm for Trump because they show he’s failing—at least so far—to dominate among the sort of voters thought to be more sympathetic to him. The poll also splashes cold water on suggestions that the real-estate developer and TV personality is well positioned to win in the Rust Belt.

LOL! That is funny! You should start your own satire site. "Bloomberg" is about as unbiased as "Fox News" whose latest poll shows exactly the opposite. LOL! ROFLOL!

Polls are supposed to be unbiased.

And I don't understand the relevance of

Polls are designed to be unbiased, so it shouldn't matter the source.

And I don't understand the relevance of your attachment.

Dream on.

It shows the latest Fox News poll. Trump 42% Clinton 39%.

It shows the national polls when a third party candidate is included. It has nothing to do with polls taken in the swing states of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin with Trump and Clinton as the candidates.

Uh, it shows a third party candidate being on the ballot because the Libertarian Party is holding its national convention TODAY! Duh! :D

I like your thinking. If you're out toward Arizona you should come over and we could hangout at the beach sometime.

The methodology on this particular poll seems shaky:

Purple Insights conducted 803 interviews of middle income ($30K-$75K) likely voters in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin between May 18 and 24, 2016. The poll was conducted online, using an optin nationally representative panel. The margin of error is +/-3.5 percentage points and higher for subgroups.

and their breakdown in demographics is incomplete and this is telling:
The poll illustrates the racial divide playing out between Clinton, 68, and Trump. When only the white middle-income participants are considered, the billionaire beats Clinton 44 percent to 40 percent.

Whites made up 84 percent of the poll’s participants.

so it's back to tribal politics, and where is Illinois in all this? That's a reason I don't think Bloomie cooked this poll, that state would skew the numbers more toward Clinton. But whenever there is any racial divide like this (and non-whites have to going for Hillary at 9:1 or so), turnout is all that matters.
