Lawmaker Calls for Fauci and Birx to Step Down

The crisis has effectively shifted from the virus to the economy. Economic depression harms and kills with far more potential than the Chinese Coronavirus.

I think it's also fair to say Fauci and Birx have dropped the ball in their projections, and need to get out of the way. Fauci was saying cruise ships were safe in March? He's now singing a different tune and visiting the liberal news shows, but ain't gonna work.

UPDATE: Fauci Said Cruises Were OK on March 9 – Fauci Said Malls, Movies, Gyms Were OK on Feb. 29 — Now He Wants to Blame Trump for His Failures!

Here's Congressman Andy Biggs on the Garret Lewis morning show, explaining why he wants these two out of the way.

He hasnt gotten a thing right so far. On January 21, 29 and Feb 29 he publicly said there was nothing for the US to worry about. Not he doesnt want anyone to ever shake hands again. He is about as reliable as the global warming alarmists.

yup, one extreme to the other. Guys in these positions have to consider more than just preventing new infections, they have to plan for ways to get people back to working, and earlier in a news conference, several weeks ago, Fauci said that was not his job.

It’s April and you are still acting like there’s nothing to worry about. You are really get on that side of the story now? That’s hilarious.

When the going gets rough, kill the messengers and make them into scapegoats, that should help.

Oy, media is awful. I'm amazed, though, how good this press conference is going. Can't see any Republican but Trump stumping them the way he is.

Are they on TV? Are they in the government? Can they stand up to a typical police interogation? Are their stories consistient? Do they LOOK trustworthy? What is their history? Most importantly, are they true Christians, do they acknowledge Christ?

These people are experts in infectious disease, not in all fields of medicine. They are only advisors.

They are unelected and not responsible for directing government, especially not running an entire country.

The president must weigh all factors in making decisions. He has surrounded himself with many qualified advisors, as he should. He should listen, weigh, and pray, then make the tough decisions.

Trump has been doing that as well as any president I know of. May God grant that he continue to do so, and until they open their hearts, shut the mouths and bind the hands of those intent on harm.
