I believe the only power we have is the vote. Therefore I have a strategy.... it’s called, get rid of the incumbent politician. By knocking them out of office every election, you show them that we as voters have some power over them and that they had better be exceptional in the given position. Otherwise, bang your gone. In reality, the vote is the only stick we have to rein a politician in.

Well, this problem of the size of semi-automatic matches, as you know, needs to be studied by a committee. We all agree that we need a Blue Ribbon Commission of Ivy League graduates who live east of the Hudson River or in Malibu to study this issue in depth over the next ten or twenty years and report to the Congress and White House in a white paper, etc., etc., etc....

I agree to an extent, but there is no way I am voting for an ultra liberal against a Conservative, even if the Conservative is a RINO.

EVERYONE agrees we should term limit by election - EXCEPT for "my representative" because he brings home the bacon!

We need to vote what is good for the entire jurisdiction, not just our particular wants.
