We have had multiple parties since the get-go. Lincoln was the last 3rd president and he was smart enough to stack the deck against them. The only thing I "advocated" was the reform of the GOP. I never said I was for the moderates forming a third party, I am for kicking them out of mine. They can do what the want to at that point.
