Proof that we can laugh at ourselves:

Help! I'm Going Hyper!

Sample:

17. You hear a news story about some criminals being "reformed" and your first thought is to wonder how many criminals are arminians.

Now some of those are funny! My favorite was this:

15. The word "Puritan" appears as a required character trait in your profile on eHarmony.

He's the guy predestinated to seduce your teenage daughter and cause her to lose her virginity to some jerk who only looks like this guy, but don't be upset over the matter, God fore-ordained this to happen without your being able to prevent it because you were elected to ignore the danger of this happening in the first place and all before the foundations of the world.

Salamander. I have a teen age daughter and I take offense to what you have said. Are you a prophet? Do you claim to see into the future? You certainly are not a prophet because you are not God's spokesperson. Shame on you! I demand an apology for speaking of my daughter that way!

Even though the jokes are so old (predestined before the foundation of the world), they're still funny!

Actually, I never knew rfb had a daughter, for that I appologise in not knowing, but I also have a 16 yrold daughter named Amanda who is as pure as the driven snow due to our bringing her up in the nuture and admonition of the Lord and having enough sense not to let her wander away to be subject to the lusts of the flesh.

Was she "predestinated" to be as she is? No, she first had to be saved, then she also had to willingly be subject to the godly wisdom afforded her by her parents and her Sunday School teacher, and her youth leader, and her Pastor, and her friends, and her not even being associated with the likes of the "dude" refered to.

Now, if you want to discuss Ephesians 1:4, then you had best understand why the Holy Ghost inspired Paul to place the prepositional phrase "in him" there before considering anything else about when we became "holy and without blame"

I only spoke in the scenario of you even having a daughter, so lighten up. Tizzie, tizzie, tizzie!

I also wasn't directly addressing you or your vanity that I was even speaking to you, or about you, or your daughter, personally, I was speaking generally, so calm down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
