Amen to what Roger said!
I hope you check out the VERACITY of the points you've read in the works by those KJVO authors...for example the guesswork Terry Watkins has written.
Here's a little more evidence you can easily check behind me for veracity: Many a KJVO cited Psalm 12:7 as a proof verse for KJVOism. This view was included in the foundation book for the current KJVO myth...SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST teacher/preacher Dr. Benjamin Wilkinson's 1930 book, Our Authorized Bible Vindicated.
The AV 1711 itself proves this point false. Reading its text, note the little dagger beside the second them. The corresponding dagger is beside this marginal note: "Heb. him, I. euery one of them." The AV men italicized them to show the reader it's not a literal translation of the Hebrew, while giving the literal translation in the marginal note. The AV men, same as every legit translator before them, and after, believed this verse was about PEOPLE.
You can easily verify this for yourself.
But, for the sake of discussion, let's pretend V7 IS about God's words. Now, would it support the KJVO myth? Most assuredly NOT. Why would this verse not apply to any other version? What would make its application exclusive to any one version? Right back to Square One ya go!
I know ya can't study all the KJVO propaganda in one day, but you can at least start to see many of the authors advocating this false doctrine have written with forked pen.
