Let's Predict Trump's Public Relations Stunt in Wake of Wisconsin Primary Loss

I predict that on Wednesday, probably Wednesday morning, Trump's campaign will have some sort of an announcement, some sort of event, or controversy, to attempt and wrest away the positive press that Ted Cruz will be basking in after his Wisconsin GOP primary victory.

I'm going to guess that his campaign will make an announcement about Cruz tampering with delegates.

Other possibilities are:

1. Firing of some campaign staffers.
2. PR blitz on the news shows complaining about how unfair the RNC rules are going to be at the convention.
3. Tried and true--announce the endorsement of Trump by someone.

Any other ideas?

Yup, Trump may win in a nail biter (according to latest polls), if so what will the media and RNC power grabbing stunts be?

I'll predict:

1) Major blitz of the media to entrap Trump with ambiguous responses and spinning it for all it’s worth.

2) More sore loser GOPEEs threatening to not to vote for Trump should he win the nomination while spreading fear of Hilary’s victory in light of their traitorous actions.

3) Pressure will be put on the RNC Rules Committee to start making the “proper” adjustments “for the best interests of a fair and balanced decision” - by the GOPEEs.

Well, the polling over there has been historically bad in recent years. especially with Walker and the recalls but it's not really that big of a state and there's not so many delegates up for grabs. Wisconsin is a must win for Cruz but not Trump. What Cruz is doing with some of the other delegates is legal but not so ethical IMO - he'll never get through in a contested convention if it comes to that.

Ben's predictions are more on the mark. For here on to California, it's all going to be on Trump territory with the exception of Indiana. Can't predict with much confidence today, probably Sanders and Trump in a very close upset.

The rules committee for the upcoming convention have not been selected yet. (Well, according to the story in your link 4 of the 112 have been selected.) There will be 2 delegates per state/territory selected at each state convention to serve on the Rules Committee at the national convention.

Yep, he could be in single digits and he'd just claim that the RNC is not treating him fairly and rigging the polls. So he's gonna run as an Independent.

Since you live in Wisconsin, you have a better feel for the mood of the people. Here in Minnesota I can only get faint vibrations. The state that elected Scott Walker three times in the past four years has seen a lot of campaigns, heard a lot of arguments. By now Wisconsin has been shown to be a solidly conservative state. It's Cruz country.

I am now seeing this the morning after the election. The results are no surprise to me.

On a more local note, in some ways, our State Supreme Court race was slightly more important than the Primary:

Trump's campaign has issued a statement saying that Trump withstood an "onslaught" by the Republican establishment. Trump called Cruz a puppet and a trojan horse for the Republican elite that wants to steal the nomination from him. He also alleges that Cruz coordinated his campaign in Wisconsin with a couple Super Pacs (which is illegal).

I can't believe this is all he has up his sleeve. If it is, I wonder if he's becoming weary of losing? Is there no fight left in him?
