And, barring divine intervention, the time for this is probably not very far into the future.
Most definitely soon after the '22 elections IF God does not intervene to assure HONEST & FAIR voting!!!

I make you laugh Salty for 20 minutes! I hope you alright. Yes, pastors laugh too, on their way to the bank.


You mentioned "our association pastors - Bi-vocational.." Yes some pastor so call "Bi-vocational" but they do not represent average pastors and their salaries.


Today, on average pastors start from 40 to 50 K, of course this data would not include those pastors who serve in small chapels or very small rural church, they usually start from 12 K.


So I Goggle: "Pastor salary in Manchester, NH," the town I live in, and I got this information. It is not hard to find how much on average pastors make across US.

I think you purposely minimizing and diminishing the income of the pastors in order to portrait them as a "poor sheep" of their ministry, but in reality they are fattening and stuffing themselves at expense of others, shame on them!


Isaiah 56.11

11.The dogs have a mighty appetite, they never have enough. The shepherds have no understanding, they have all turned to their own way, to their own gain, one and all.


Ezekiel 34.3-4

3.You eat the fat, and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat sheep without feeding the flock.

4.Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you sought for the lost, but with force and with severity you have dominated them.


Micah 3.11

11.Its rulers give judgment for a bribe, its priests teach for a price, its prophets give oracles for money (Micah 3.11) (Acts 20.33-35) (John 10.1-12-13-16) (Titus 1.10-11-16) (1Peter 5.2-4), yet they lean upon the Lord and say, "Surely the Lord is with us! No harm shall come upon us."


John 10.12

12.He who is a hireling (hired man) and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.

13.He flees because he is a hireling and is not concerned about the sheep.


1Peter 5.2

2.shepherd the flock of GOD among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion but voluntarily, according to the will of GOD, and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness,

@Alex2165, take a look at the overall budget of the churches. Then compare that with a secular organization of the same size. Like Salty, most of the pastors aren't getting rich in the pulpit. Another question is are these folks pastoring "mainline" churches or Gospel preaching/Bible Believing ones.

Just read a book, the Agony of ecept, where one story was about kenneth Hagin speaking to a local pastor, who was persuaded by hagin that the local church must not have a set salary for pastor, but given him 10 % of the monies coming in, and pastor loved that, as told him "Brother hagin, that makes me over a million per year pay day"

Except, I can't think of anybody in my orbit that would be influenced by Hagin.
