Liberals are the true heirs of the Nazi spirit

In the early days of the Nazi Party Hitler opposed liberalism and communism, AND capitalism (since he believed Jews ran most corporations). It was a nationalistic message of profit-sharing and guaranteed jobs along with a strong dose of antisemitism. Once he became chancellor and wanted to rebuild the military he realized he needed industry and corporations on his side--they would be building the weaponry--so he dropped the anti-capitalism rhetoric and targeted the Jews, communists and socialists.

Being on the side of corporations and industry in order to build up the military is decidedly not a socialistic nor a left-wing position.

In the early days of the Nazi Party Hitler opposed liberalism and communism....

I don't think this is true. He may have killed liberals and communists he didn't like, but that doesn't mean he didn't adhere to the same philosophy. Hitler was a liberal by everything I can see.

Take a look at the Nazi party platform. You can see both left wing (#11, 12, 13, 14) and right wing policies (#1, 3, 6, 10).

I would point out when Hitler first began speaking for the Nazis he was opposed by communists and socialists:

...then Hitler began to speak. As he describes the scene:

"There was a hail of shouts, there were violent clashes in the hall, a handful of the most faithful war comrades and other supporters battled with the disturbers … Communists and Socialists … and only little by little were able to restore order. I was able to go on speaking. After half an hour the applause slowly began to drown out the screaming and shouting … When after nearly four hours the hall began to empty I knew that now the principles of the movement which could no longer be forgotten were moving out among the German people."

In the course of his speech Hitler had enunciated for the first time the twenty-five points of the program of the German Workers’ Party.

When you do I will. Quoting wiki is not presenting facts.
Nazism is a right wing ideology. It is violently racist, anti-socialist, and it targets the political left for extermination. This is underscored by Albert Einstein's embrace of socialism throughout his life -- and in particular in his 1949 essay, Why Socialism? -- along with the fact that Einstein's name was included on a Nazi death list with a bounty of $50,000 offered for his assassination. If Nazism really is socialism, why would Einstein have identified himself as a socialist a scant four years after WWII?

J. Edgar Hoover, the first director of the FBI (and virulently anti-communist) was a great admirer of the Nazis and was a pen pal of Heinrich Himmler (Reichsfuhrer of the Nazi SS, head of the Gestapo, and second most powerful leader of the Nazi party). Hoover sent Himmler a personal invitation to attend the 1937 World Police Conference in Montreal, and in 1938 welcomed one of Himmler's top aids to the U.S. In June 1939, when the Nazi SS was conducting savage attacks against Jews, Gypsies, and homosexuals throughout Germany, Hoover personally autographed a photo of himself and sent it in response to a request, to KRIPO, the Nazi criminal police agency. He continued communication with Nazi police until December 4, 1941 (three days before Pearl Harbor).*
