Liberals Mad About the Lack of Beds For Migrants Are Boycotting Wayfair...For Providing Beds For Migrants

Liberals who spent the better part of the week ranting against the Trump administration for not having enough beds for detained migrant children are now reportedly boycotting the popular online furniture company Wayfair…

…for providing beds for detained migrant children.

In a move that makes about as much sense as cutting off one’s nose to spite your face, progressives are praising a contingent of some 550 Wayfair employees who said they’re planning to walk off the job Wednesday afternoon in protest of their company’s arrangement with the federal government to provide beds for border facilities.

Wayfair CEO Niraj Shah has so far reportedly refused disgruntled workers’ request to halt an order for $200,000 worth of bedroom furniture to a government contractor that supplies the facilities, saying in a statement, “We believe it is our business to sell to any customer who is acting within the laws of the countries within which we operate.” His stance has prompted many social media users to declare they won't be shopping at Wayfair until the company changes its plans to fund Trump's alleged "concentration camps."

Ironically, many liberals in favor of shutting down Wayfair’s contract to provide beds for migrant children are the same ones complaining of “inhumane” conditions in border detention facilities – including children being forced to sleep on concrete floors because they don’t have...well, beds.

But hey, if Wayfair finally backs down, perhaps these concerned citizens should find out who supplies border centers with food and attack them, too. Maybe turn off the water.

You know, for the kids.

Yes, so if Nabisco, Oscar Meyer, Kellogg's, is providing food for the children, should we boycott them, as well?

What hypocrisy, this as they rush a bill through to cover there own sin of not coming to the aid of these in need until they were caught.

SEE LOOK WHAT WE DID!

First, they're not "migrants". They're illegal aliens. Border criminals.

That having been said, this has nothing to do with "migrants" or children or compassion. It's all about virtue signaling and how much they hate Trump.

A couple of years ago, some students at a college in our area protested the presence of a Asian restaurant in the food court. "Cultural appropriation", they said. "It's offensive to Asians for Americans to enjoy their native foods!"

So the college, not realizing they were in charge, caved to the students and got rid of the Asian restaurant.

It wasn't even a week before the same students were back at it protesting the lack of Asian representation among the restaurants in the food court.

They couldn't have cared less what was in the food court. They just wanted everybody to know how "woke" they are.

It's understandable when a young person has a lot of zeal, but no wisdom. But it's sad when an adult has zeal but no wisdom.

Same here. They don't care about anybody but themselves and drawing attention to themselves. It's as if they think they're getting points in a game for how much they hate Trump. They hate Trump more than they care about the people they say they care about.

The worse conditions get at the border, the more left-wing (and campaign enhancing) crocodile tears can be shed. "Create a crisis that can be blamed on your opponents."
And then play the hero and fix it.
