Liberals vs Conservative

There's a difference between liberal and conservative as political terms, and as theological ones.
I consider myself theologically conservative, even though politically I fall under liberal with libertarian leanings. Theological conservatism is more loosely defined than is political conservatism. But theological conservatives tend to believe in Biblical inerrancy and infallability, and perhaps have a different interpretation of the Bible overall than do theological liberals.

Inerrancy
Virgin Birth
Bodily Resurrection
Sacraficial Blood Atonement

yes and it is highly doubtful whether a change of mind is a common occurrence here at the BB though surely it happens.
it has been publicly asked here on a couple of rare occasions - only 1 or 2 or so admitted to change - several to a greater understanding of differences.
An increase in understanding - that alone is a good thing although i have wondered how many souls have limped away wounded never to return.
But that is unavoidable in any social communication endeavor even via the best of Christian endeavors such as the BB.

Theological liberals are heretics, false Christians.
Political liberals are confused Christians or false Christians.
I'm a little extreme on this, but I believe political liberalism is fruit that should be examined, and is, to an extent, evidence of wolves in sheep's clothing. This is not to say that a political liberal cannot be a true Christian, but if one is indifferent to the most extreme holocaust in human history, and embraces the extreme platforms of the modern left, they are either extremely confused politically and theologically, or they are phonies, or they are self deceived unbelievers.
Many will push back on this point, but I would challenge them as to why we should exclude political fruit. Why not consider all fruit?

Politics is not a fruit It's actually senseless Because it is God who appoints the ruling powers not politics. You think your choice has an effect. It doesn't. God is much better at it than man will ever be.

If this is true (and of course it is), then God appointed you. Perhaps you don't realize this, but the American electorate appoints governing authorities (or appoints the electors who appoint authorities). If you are an American citizen, then you are part of that electoral body, and by your own testimony, appointed by God.
In America, the people are Caesar. We actually do what monarchs normally did—appoint governing authorities.
Yet you're saying that the job God appointed you to is pointless? It'll be interesting listening to you try to explain that to Him. May He have mercy on you.

Modern journalistic type authors write books such as 1984, Brave New World, etc... which indicate that while we believe ourselves to be free we are owned by our masters which use the arts and sciences of social engineering/eugenics to keep us in bondage.
True and a fascinating book. 1884 came and went without the prophecy coming to pass. If I were to speculate, I think it eventually will come to pass, but not until the Church is raptured—hopefully.

You're saying you have authority over who rules but you don't. You have nothing to do with it.
God appointed me alright and it wasn't a position on politics. God appoint us all to preach the gospel. You on the other hand don't have enough faith that God can and does appoint men to govern and there is nothing in scripture for us to do in government except to obey the ruling powers unless it conflicts with God's mighty will. No where in scripture does it ever say we are to do anything except spread the gospel and and love your neighbors. if you aren't doing that you are avoiding your appointment. Besides God knows men better than you or I and is capable to make His will a reality no matter the vote.
If you really think your vote counts you are wrong Trump did not have the votes he had the electoral other wise he would have lost.

According to your own testimony, it was. You rightly pointed out that God established all governing authorities (Rom. 13:1). What you didn't realize was that you implicated yourself in saying this.
If you are an American citizen, you are part of a governing authority—the American electorate—perhaps the most powerful governing authority on earth. And I agree with you, God established your position in this governing body.
Sorry, there's no escape. Yes, you've been appointed to share the Gospel, and live from Christ. But by your own testimony God established the American electorate, of which you are a member. You can run from this responsibility, but you'd be in sin. As you put it,

Politics is mostly stuff that's very debatable, it's just different people's opinions on how the government ought to be run, it's different opinions on how the government should handle or respond to many issues.

Immigration, climate change, healthcare, gay marriage, other stuff that doesn't come to mind. On social issues like gay marriage, you can believe the government should be left out of the equation without personally supporting the thing.
