I whole heartedly agree with Dr. Bob that the defender has given no proof. Another man willing to say it like it is.

All I know is what I was told by the author himself and that is exactly what I stated on BB. Perhaps you may want to contact Lifeway and ask for a copy of their agreement with an author about their editing rights so you can read it for yourself. You tell me to go get proof from Lifeway, attempting to remove the burden of proof from yourself and place it on others, which is further evidence you've provided no veritable proof, as you ask me to go get it myself.
What would you call accusing me of creating a conspiracy theory?IAll I can say is God bless you, and I'll take the slanderous remarks kindly, but you've broken BB rules numerous times in this thread.
If you do not consider personal testimony proof then that is okay. However a court of law does.I whole heartedly agree with Dr. Bob that the defender has given no proof. Another man willing to say it like it is.

I am extremely confident if I sat in a court of law that after verification they would find every word of my true.A court of law would not accept that you were told. It only works when you have first hand knowledge. Otherwise it is called hearsay. And even if it is true it is gossip. Do you understand what gossip is?

I fully understand what gossip is. Protecting ethical practices is not about gossip. When a company publishes something under a person's name and it does not represent what they actually wrote then I see that as a violation of the ethical standard and misrepresenting the author. My push is for accurate representation of what an author really wrote having their full agreement with the final product. I have been published twice and the publisher did not publish anything I did not agree with. After discussion we came to an agreement of what I wanted to say. Together we finished the final manuscript and both of us were in agreement then it was published. Before it was actually published I was sent a final copy that I read before it was actually put into publication. I cannot accuse the publisher of publisher of something that I did not write and agree to.
apparently you do not like my personal testimony and you consider following scripture gossip. The truth can be verified which you have done nothing to do either to prove or disprove what I said. I told you all I had and told you what I was told not what he wrote. If you do not like that then that is your choice. To name someone as a liar is a stretch unless you have proof. Until you have proof then it is a false accusation. Written documents are not always needed to provide truth. If you believe that then you are naming the Bible as a lie because scripture says something quite different in 1 Tim 5:19.the key phrase here is "after verification" of which you have done nothing here to present any "verification.
Jerome covered most of it. If you remember the "Baptist Bookstores" which were owned by the Southern Baptists, then that became Lifeway when they wanted to try to open it up to more than just the Baptist denomination. Good marketing move, but whether or not ethical, that will have to be up to God and the biggies in the convention who voted to change the name. They have also become more liberal in what they sell since they changed.Lifeway is the publishing arm of the SBC denomination (aka the Sunday School Board before it was 'rebranded'). Also the name of the denomination's bookstores.
