Limbaugh's Viagra Legitimately Prescribed to Him by Physician,

A lot of speculation here. I'm not a big fan at all of Rush but he does not need to be battered about w/o just reason. He has his problems, perhaps major problems, but he needs our prayers.

Why is anyone here suprised that an unsaved entertainer has sex without being married? The surprising thing would be if he wasn't. It is interesting how some of you get all high and righteous on this topic, but then continually participate in slander and dishonest against people. Quite frankly, it is better for Limbaugh to have sex outside of marriage than for you to come on this board and slander people because you disagree with their political opinions.

Well, let's see what the facts are:

1. Dominican Republic is more than rampant in prostitution, especially what we might call "underaged" in the United States, though they consider quite normal. (Sixteenth birthdays are often big sex parties for the kids.)

2. Rush is in the DR without female companionship.

3. Rush is loaded for bear with Viagra, regardless of who prescribed it.

4. Rush is a "public figure" so therefore, his private life no longer exists and it is perfectly okay to print facts such as this without recourse on Rush's part for discussing what he may be carrying with him.

 

You think everyone who goes to DR goes for sex? Surely you are not that obtuse are you.

You are welcome to print facts. To insinuate from those facts is completely inappropriate and with no merit whatsoever. Unless you have evidence that he went there and engaged in illegal sex, then you should not insinuate that he did. There is no apparent connection between 1 and 2-4.

How do you know a female didn't meet him in the DR and travel back separately? Why aren't your speculating on that? Probably because it doesn't have the same attack factor.

Shameful. The whole insinuation has been utterly shameful. And I don't even like Rush. I can't tell you the last time I listened to him. But this is shameful. This thread should have been closed long ago.

It would never be mentioned. Look at Clinton. He has had actual charges filed against him, and has been disbarred for his sex problems. He's still a hero.

 

I don't listen to Rush on a regular basis. When travelling during the day I do listen to talk radio. If I can get Jim Rome, I listen to that. Sometimes the only talk radio I can get is Rush, so I listen to him. I don't take everything he says seriously, and don't know that he does. I'm sure he has personal problems, just like most of us.

But to put together these "facts" is just absurd and no more than an over active imagination. It would be like stating that because a man from Arkansas has sex in his office with a young woman, then all men from Arkansas that are alone in their office with young lady will have sex,because there can be no other reason to be alone in the office with a young woman...and by implication the man's wife doesn't satisfy her husband, probably because she is a lesbian,because that is the only reason a man would cheat.

As far as Al Franken, I don't think it would even be a story...I try but I'can never pick up his show for more than a few minutes while travelling. Bigger fish, make a bigger splash.

Al Franken is such a non-entity that no one cares. Thousands of people take viagra and thousands go to the DR and no one cares. THis is an issue only because its Limbaugh. And my support isn't for him. I am simply pointing out the truth on the one hand, and the hypocrisy on the other.

and 5. Rush regularly slanders other public figures which leaves him open for the same sort of treatment (if only we were not good Christians who never bashed any public figures).

This is not good for Rush. Abusing dangerous drugs might be considered evil or weak, but Viagra...

He's on the way to becoming Pee Wee Herman.
