Lindsay Clancy is the woman who killed her three children and then tried to take her own life. Before going through this she sought help from the secular psychiatrists. In which prescribed her medication. I do not believe any of the secular psychiatrists tried to sit down and have a valuable conversation with the lady. Question... Did Lindsay Clansy's Psychiatrists do the right thing? Are there times when good counseling should be used in the stead of medication?

Are there times when good counseling should be used in the stead of medication?

I believe a psychiatrist should start with lengthy conversation/counseling, and if the
psychiatrist feels medication is necessary based on the conversation, then the
counseling should continue so the psychiatrist can evaluate the patient to see if the
proscribed medication is having the desired effect.
