Presidents are like quarterbacks - get too much credit when things go well and too much blame when things go poorly.

Performance is the only thing that is measurable and should be discussed. My sons boss was made general manager for an upscale car dealership in Florida. The guy is young,proven, polished, a Marine Corps vet, blah blah blah.... real nice resume but he couldn’t make the numbers required so he got fired. There wasn’t a second chance... rather we are going to move in another direction. That’s how it is in business and how it should also be in politics... not a to big to fail mentality.

That makes as much sense as saying, “I don’t see any farms in the city, so that’s a moot point for me.” In other words, it would only make sense if you don’t benefit from anything produced. In other words, it makes no sense.

I did not read through the list yet, but this point seems of particular importance, and all the more reason to bring back our manufacturing, guard our technology, oust Chinese Communists from America and find every way we can not to enrich that or any other enemy regime.

A thread was started earlier, and I linked an article (The Urgent Need for a United States Space Force) articulating the specifics regarding the need for a real US Space Force. I don’t know how well Trump and Congress have followed through.

Not aimed at me, but I'll weigh in anyway.

There isn’t much practical difference between the fascist and communist labels, as proponents of both are bent on power, on dominating all facets of the country or the world, including religious conscience. Progressive Leftist Socialists, such as Dems and RINOs, seem to be aimed at achieving that dominance, wielding that power. But don’t underestimate Islam as a similar sort of force.

Seems like there are people on the far left who consider those who disagree with them to be “regressive rightist fascists” and people on the far right who consider those who disagree with them to be “progressive leftist socialists”. Do you consider yourself to be among that latter group, or do you think someone can disagree with you politically and not be a “progressive leftist socialist”?

Either they did not read the list or they have no ideal what success is.

Of course people can disagree with me politically. For example, some are so dangerous that they don’t even seem to recognize there could be such a thing as an enemy. Too many libertarians seem to be in that category.

He’s not perfect, but better than anyone I can recall, including Reagan, Trump has recognized who the team is and who our enemies are, which are fundamental prerequisites to dealing with the issues.
