Logical Fallacies

I thought everyone on the BB would benefit from seeing this site. There are a few individuals I specifically have in mind that I hope see this site, but I will refrain from calling them out. Some will be educated by this site, some will find it humorous, as they will recognize many of these logical fallacies used on the BB every single day.

Here's one to get you started:

One of Crete’s own prophets has said it: “Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons.” This saying is true. Titus 1:12-13

Everyone, strike Titus 1:12-13 from your Bibles. It is fallacious. Next?

p.s. I'm just playing along. This isn't a logical fallacy, and I'll show how later. But I'm not surprised it is asserted to be so by one who has set himself up as Moses' judge.

Just as Paul taught we should not lie or use deception for what we see as a good cause, I think the use of logical fallacies is not in accord with the will of God. But clearly, this must be a minority view. :)
