As the Daily Wire reported, speaking with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain, London’s first Muslim mayor struggled to give coherent answers pertaining to the safety of his city from radical Islamic terrorists.



Morgan specifically asked Khan what London was doing about the reported 400 jihadis who have taken up arms, actually fought for the Islamic State, then journeyed back to city.
“I can’t follow 400 people,” answered Khan, before listing budget cuts as a rationale for these potential killers to be on the loose, unfollowed.

“What could be a bigger priority than people coming back from a Syrian battlefield with intent to harm British citizens?” Morgan pressed. “Why is it not the number one priority? Why are these people just allowed to come back in in the first place, and then the London mayor doesn’t appear to have a clue to where any of them are? No disrespect to you, but where are they?”

Khan: “That’s one of the questions that, obviously, police —”

“But you’re the mayor!” interrupts an irate Morgan.

UK police funding is controlled by the central government, not the Mayor's office. Between 2010 and 2016, Home Secretary Theresa May (whatever happened to her?) systematically cut the government's funding of the police, reducing the number of police and other resources.

Now, thanks to her, we have to try to fight these guys with depleted resources.

I heard the interview and it is a complete insanity that the British government is letting back into the country people who have fought for ISIS. Until they end this practice, start deporting duel citizenship suspects, and interning some of the other several thousand people on terrorist watch lists, the Brits are not serious about trying to stop those who want to kill and maim their citizens.

Our judges will gladly let them into the US if the Brits shut the door. Our cities are ticking time bombs with the number of radicals already here.
Heck, even a radical nation like Iran can't stop the muhammedans from following the hadith of their revered leader.

Agreed with both the above. Blame on our side of the Pond lies with the person who is now - at least until today - our Prime Minister: the laws exist to deport and prosecute those who have gone to Syria and attempted to return but largely have not been enforced by her (then) Home Office.

Yes he wants citizens to get used to terrorists but he wants to prosecute perceived hate crimes against muslims. How about let's get used to so called hate crimes against muslims and prosecute terrorists. Either way it shows he is just covering for terrorists.
