I think that the biggest area of error with LS adherents is that they fail to see the wonderfully counterintuitive way in which the gospel works.
If you seek to be first, you will last; if you give, you will receive; if you are meek, you will inherit the Earth. That's counterintuitive way in which things work in God's economy.
LS folks want people to live holy lives. We all want that; however, the way in which we get there is obvious to some, and it's again, counterintuitive to most. We get there by grace, through faith. Faith, grace, gospel. . . these are not thinks reserved for making converts. These are the tools and fuels which help make Christians Christlike because they help Christians walk in the Spirit and in union with Christ.
Logic would tell us that laws and rules will produce holiness in the life of the believer, but they have absolutely no power to do so. The gospel, however, does.
