    ^I read that another four or five episodes will be made for this season, probably to be shown in April/May. They won't answer all of the questions, I'm sure.

    They won't. They carry the mysteries from season to season, there are 2 more seasons. If they don't decided to go 3 instead becasue of missing a lot of the season because of the writters strike. Which si over, and there will be more then 8 episodes this season, but I don't think show is going to have their usual full season's worth of shows becasue of the strike.
    They will however tie up mysteries before the end of the series. They do it a little at a time, with clues, soem are hidden clues, but they are there.

    Nope the plan is to shrink this season's 16 episode arc to 13... so we'll get 5 more than the 8 episodes we were told we'd get pre-strike. They will take a 4-week hiatus to shoot the new episodes and the 5 post-strike episodes will start in late April.

    The next two seasons will be 16 episodes each, as promised before... that is, unless something else happens!

    That is a very good article, Joshua. Thank you for posting. In it, the producers share what sort of things will be answered this season (how the Oceanic 6 get off the island, who's in the coffin, etc.). While Jacob and the Smoke Monster are important, they are not given as much focus as these other issues this season.

    Joshua, will the three episodes left over from this season be carried over until next season, or scrapped altogether? I would hate for us to lose three of our allotted 48 :(
