A little off subject but does anyone know if a bunch of the Congressperson's laptop computers went missing during this "siege" of the Capital building?

Was he wearing anything resembling his active duty uniform? IOW, did he look to be representing the US Army? If, so, call him back for a courts martial. If not, let the civilian courts handle his case.

No, I don't think that would work because he would not have been subject to UCMJ being retired.

BUT if he is incarcerated for disloyalty to the US then he could lose his retirement pension and any VA compensation while in prison. It'd pick back up when he is released.

To me that should only be applicable if it was for something that the retiree did while still in uniform.

I wasn't sure either - so I did some checking.
I guess they figure that if your getting paid from DOD - they still own you!

Pfffft! That's nothing! Vote ME in for POTUS and I'll pass an EO making Mondays illegal along with a ban on all non-essential business before 12 noon. Beer & pizza half price for all vets along with everything else sold at wholesale price with no sales tax to combat vets.

I have always had the understanding that anyone former military, ranging from retired to DAV could be held to UCMJ standards under certain circumstances because while they may no longer be serving, they are still getting a monthly check for their service.

Will the courts now have to court marshal the majority of the troops is a pertinent question.

I mean who will actually destroy the country, of which the military is supposed to protect?
