I'll let you be the judge as to whether freedom of speech was breached by Maher's comment about Tim Tebow (I think we would all say that it is Maher's right, but...come on, enough is enough!).
As a Christian, I am offended, but, almost anything and everything Bill Maher does under the guise of comedy offends me. I guess that I dislike him almost as much as he despises Christians; with the difference being, I am required to "pray" for him (which I do), while he "preys" on the values and lifestyle of Christians with ill-timed, foul mouthed absurdity!
Still, he has a soul that needs to be saved, and only God can do that. Can you even begin to imagine Bill Maher, born-again, on the side of believers? Now that would an earth-shattering miracle. Of course, that is the what God is in the of doing...
Many have already voiced their disdain with HBO, and others are boycotting HBO. What would you do after knowing how far Maher went to elicit a laugh???
Due to the objectionable nature of what Maher said about Tim Tebow's poor performance in Saturday's game against the Buffalo Bills (12/24/11), you will have to look it up, and decide if you want to read it.
I am simply asking for your views on whether today's comedians have taken humor beyond their right to free speech???
