Makeup - Vital need or a pain?

I don't wear it that often anymore. I used to feel like I had to wear it or I wasn't pretty. But I've learned God made me the way I am and my true worth is in Christ, not in how I look. If I wear it, it's light and only on my eyes. Eyeliner and eye shadow. That's it. :)

This is a great reply. You are so right! I think more people need to realize that.

Today it was 60 degrees when I went out running (60 degrees in the middle of December in NY!!!) and within an hour of coming home, I had to be at church for our staff Christmas party. I showered and was still sweating when I got out and my face, thanks to my rosacea, was BEAT red. I waited a bit and it was still beat red. I was SO thankful for my foundation that covers up the red and evens out my skin tone. If I don't wear anything else, I always wear that foundation (CC cream from Clinique) just for that reason.

I don't wear any. Never really have. I experimented with it in school, but always had weird reactions. I hated the way it felt and smelled anyway.
