i have absolutely no doubt abt the movie n its producer. Mel Gibson's put his money where his mouth is. he ain't lyin' or play acting. altho an actor by profession, he shoots far straighter than the types of bigtime evangelical n charismatic personalities. there's no doubt in my mind that he's out to build what he thinks is the church of Jesus Christ--but of course we know that he's sincerely wrong. the gospel that he believes, preaches, n produces on film is NOT the same as ours--namely salvation by grace alone, thru faith alone, in Christ alone, according to the Scriptures alone, to the glory of God alone.Originally posted by computerjunkie:
While I have some "concerns" about this yet-to-be-released movie, I know it is about the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I don't think it should be referred to as a "trashy movie", despite what we personally think about it OR its producer.
(his is an admixture of each of the 5 solas--by grace AND human cooperation, thru faith AND works/sacraments, in Christ thru Mary, according to Scriptures n the Apocrypha n the Magisterium n the Dolorous Passion AND ..., to the glory of God n his Vicar on earth n his church ... classic Romish teaching, anathemas n all. read it all in Trent
here's more proof. the guy's a "director" in a secret Romish cathedral in which he sticks millions of dollars. don't forget that THe Passion was produced w him n "Jesus" Caviezal receiving the "transubstantiated" fleshly tissue n serum of Jesus every morning--fr a Romish priest, of course. the link to Mel's $anctuary:
