Man convicted of a gender hate speech crime

In Belgium

A man was pulled over and given a ticket by a female police officer AND
He was reported to have said she would be better off doing a job “adapted to women”, in a scene witnessed by several other people.
For this he was convicted and fined and told to pay the fine or spend a month in jail.

Man becomes first person convicted of sexism in public place under new Belgian law

Now of course TODAY we are protected by the 1st amendment here in America for being obnoxious.

BUT for how long?

Had Hillary been elected it would probably be executive law already?

Our speech is being taken away, not so much by laws, but by technology companies and "political correctness".

And of the fact that he's a misogynistic bellend...although that shouldn't be a crime necessarily.

If you verbally abuse a cop in the US who's ticketing you, does that get you an extra citation?

I don't think so. All he said is she would be better off doing a job more suitable for women..
Clearly protected by the 1st amendment.

So how do you protect your women from being verbally sexually harassed? Or do they just have to put up with it in a kind of medieval sort of way?

Clearly protected by the 1st amendment.

And of course he is correct. One goal of Marxism (which is alive and well called by different terms nowadays) is the end of all distinction between people. As Christians, we understand that it is God Himself who has created distinctions and He celebrated these distinctions, which evil men try to ignore and erase.

Men and women are suited, by design, for different types of work. True and godly men and societies protect women from war and physically dangerous jobs, while it's those who supposedly are concerned about women's "rights" who sacrifice them on the altar of "equality".

...according to your interpretation of Scripture...

And that still doesn't answer the fundamental point about how you as a 'Godly society' would protect women from sexual harassment in the workplace and out of the workplace.

By jailing them. Now, if you can put away your whataboutism and Islamophobia for a moment and answer the question, that would be great.

Ok, try again: within the law how do you propose that protection?

And what about when you're not there to personally 'deny his 1st Amendment rights' with your fist?

A failure of enforcement of the law, not the law itself

Is not the actual enforcement of law, The law, practically speaking?

Sodomy was against the law of most states for a very long time (and still might be in some, for all I know) but it had not been enforced in decades.
