Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored [Titus 2:3-5].

Black, are you thanking God that these instructions are not being carried out today? If so, what other scriptural instructions merit your thanks to the One whose word it is that we [people in general] do the opposite?

It was an instruction given to a people in a particular social-cultural context that I am thankful no longer exists; elsewhere he similarly gives instructions to slaves and I am equally thankful slavery no longer exists. What possible problem could a Christian have with slavery being abolished?

Okay, you must think women today CAN be malicious gossips or winos.

Nope. Now you're being silly.

Look at the context: it wasn't that women in those days didn't work, they did; the concept of the all-American stay-at-home wife'n'mom who didn't do any paid work is a relatively modern post-industrial construct. Up until the Industrial Revolution, women largely 'took work in' for which they received remuneration (hence the term 'cottage industry') although some also 'went out to work'. That was the case also in the NT times eg: Lydia in Acts 16 was a sales agent for a high class clothing manufacturer.

How many young girls were raped while the PC government refused to act? And we all know *why* they refused to act, which is the point.
I agree that was a gross failure of law enforcement. We have learned our lesson.

The UK just banned at least 3 young conservative journalists from entry. I make you aware of this, because the BBC never will. Lauren Southern @Lauren_Southern
Yes, I know about this. So, the UK banned far-right activists who wanted to share a platform with the neo-Nazi Tommy Robinson from entering the country? Is that really the best you can do? My grandfather fought against scum like that 75 years ago and their ilk dropped bombs on us within living memory, so you're damn right that I don't want individuals like that in my country. Good call by the Home Office!

You don't understand what free speech is nor the value of it, and sadly, you won't until they silence you.

You've been getting your "news" from the BBC, apparently. Tommy is not a Nazi, but that's what your government does to silence him, and Lauren Southern is a certainly not a nazi. Learn about the people you smear, before perpetuating propaganda.

Interesting that you protect the speech of Islam, but deny it to Christians. . . Nice.

'I am not a Nazi', says EDL leader Tommy Robinson

The EDL is a notorious far-right neo-Nazi organisation and, if Tommy Robinson is a Christian, then the Pope's a Prot. And I thought you said the BBC wouldn't report this? The point is that we don't like the sort of people who bombed us and whom our grandparents fought against coming here. That's our priviledge.

Tommy wasn't banned from entering. Three other people were. Far Right is a slur designed to silence people. I hope you get just what you are asking for, and soon.

Tommy is a UK citizen; the others were not. If you believe he's not a Nazi, then I have a bridge to sell you...

First of all, even if he were (he's not) , he deserves just as much right to speak that you give Islam. Listen to the man's own words and put down the BBC propaganda.
