Man & Creation: Good or Bad

I do believe God used the line of Abraham, Jacob, David for the Holy Spirit to prepare the way for our savior not for anything they did or will do, but what Jesus will do.The life He would bring. They prayed for God to not to take the Holy Spirit from them so it wasn't a lasting thing. If God uses a bush, a worm, a donkey as a messenger of the Holy Spirit does that mean they are saved? If the Holy Spirit uses us we better listen to Him. Isaiah was a righteous man to our standards but compared to God he was unclean, nothing but dirty rags. No one is good only Jesus is. Only in him we will be saved for what He has done.In Christ is the only eternal Holy Spirit in us.Jesus is now glorified and He poured the Holy Spirit on the earth and only in Him we will receive the Holy Spirit.

Job 9

32 “He is not a mere mortal like me that I might answer him,
that we might confront each other in court.
33If only there were someone to mediate between us,
someone to bring us together,
34someone to remove God’s rod from me,
so that his terror would frighten me no more.
35Then I would speak up without fear of him,
but as it now stands with me, I cannot.

Job 16
19 Even now my witness is in heaven;
my advocate is on high.
20My intercessor is my friend
as my eyes pour out tears to God;
21on behalf of a man he pleads with God
as one pleads for a friend.

1Timothy 2
5For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,6who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.

21*on behalf of a man he pleadswith God
****as one pleads for a friend.

From and interesting Sunday School Discussion:

Original Question: Is Man fundamentally Good or Bad?

Point 1: God declared all creation "GOOD" when he made it. So a brick for example, is not merely neutral (not good or bad). It is actually made of good dirt that God declared good. So a tree, dirt, frog, piece of wood...while they could be used for good or evil...are not merely neutral, they are GOOD! Affected by the curse, yes, not as good as they could be yes, But isn't their fundamental nature GOOD?

Application to Humans? I have always been taught that human beings WERE good, but NOW are fallen, and so fundamentally Evil and bad...BUT...would it not be more biblically accurate to say that man is FUNDAMENTALLY a GOOD creature? A fallen, sinful, creature with a wicked, deceptive heart, but a GOOD CREATION?

So how can we answer the question, is Man fundamentally good or evil? Or Both?
God made Adam and Eve good, but He did not make them incorruptibly good. In other words, their goodness was not something that could not be turned evil. Their nature was good in the beginning. It was corrupted, and it became evil.

Man is fundamentally evil.

Would you say that they were created so that, the Lamb slain, before they were created could be born to be slain for what they had done?

I would say it this way, they were created for Christ, and Him crucified.
