There are spelling errors in the initial post. One reason might be that the initial post may have been made in haste. It is the unfortunate that negative feelings are expressed without a reason. If a reason is given, then others can better understand the justification for the negative feelings. Maybe these things can be improved.

Marry Christmas? Who is Christmas and why should I marry her? And wouldn't my wife object? And if the invitation to Marry Christmas is to all, wouldn't that be polygamy (or more correctly, polyandry)?

If you do anything to Chist, I'm definitely going to tell your wife.

Even the word is blasphemous Christ mass, a mass for Christ, the mass is a blasphemous fable and a dangerous deceit, (the Church of England 39 articles.) Christ mass must be the worse.

I agree the idea of offering Christ as a Sacrifice over and over is blasphemy, but "Mass" comes from "missa" which was said at the end of a Catholic worship service as "Ite, missa est" which simply means "Go, it (the assembly) is dismissed" - the word "missa" being an old Latin word meaning "dismissed."

Whatever it comes from, we know what the mass is in RC theology, and Christmas was invented by Rome. It has nothing to do with the birth of Christ, but just to get Catholics to celebrate the pagan winter festival, supposedly making is 'christian'. I did some research on Baptist churches around her in the 1800's. I studied three, one by letters two with church record books. None mentioned 'christmas' at that time of the year. One actually held a church meeting on the 25th of December. Try to get our church to have a business meeting on the 25th December. It is more than we can do to get many members out for an evening service on the Lord's day when it falls on 25th Dec, In the past many of my ancestors and other relatives that I found when researching family history were married on 25th December.
