Democrats never knew anyone who had to do dirty manual labor for a living--they were all plantation owners and government employees.

And don't even think about Al Jolson singing "Mammy"... Or Neil Diamond in his remake of The Jazz Singer.

It's racism for a white person to wash his or face, let alone to pop those blackheads.

This is how the Democrat Party operates. The white folks at the top own the Democrat plantation and they have the Congressional Black Caucus as their "overseers" who keep the folks in line. Of course they throw out some freebies now and then to keep the folks believing in the system. They then have their revival meetings (party gatherings) to constantly preach to them that they somehow cannot survive without them. Sad but true.

Wow! Can the world get any more crazier than for someone to say this? Over 40 years ago I worked for a rubber company, third floor, mixing department. We'd put carbon black in a mix and at the end of shift you were black. Not trying to upset anyone but it was just the case.

You'd go down stairs, hit the showers but no matter how much you showered there was always some you'd take home. Some fella's who worked there for years and retired when they'd sweat they'd still find the black come out of their pours so I guess today with all the new reasonings people would be claiming they're not a nice person.

Mary Poppins branded racist by US academic in 'blackface' row over scene where she gets covered in soot
US academic sparks Mary Poppins 'blackface' row
LOL! Good find, Hank. Of course the movie is racist. Just by dint of being "white," and from "that era" when Disney was still Disney, it is "racist by definition."

But the academic did his job well. Anyone of similar caliber leaning anti-Semitic could do equally well painting blackface as Jewish à la Al Jolson, as some have hinted.

This is partially true but misses a highly active ingredient. Those at the top are not necessarily white, except when convenient.

Jolson died ten days after he returned from a 1950 tour of Korea of a heart attack. He was 64 and had gone to Korea with only one lung.

Yeah, but his records stayed popular. Marshall decorated him. He was a trivia question because he was in the first talkie. Do you think that retro racism ruined his memory?

Dumb question but what would they call a black baker with flour on his/her/whatever face? Especially if he/she/whatever baked a white cake with black frosting? The world is going nuts at light speed!

What I want to know is what is racist about a white man painting his face black?

I seem to remember a movie in which 2 black men painted themselves and played the roles of 2 white women.

"White Chicks" Wayans?

Should the Wayans be censured? If not why not?

I didn't see the movie but thought it odd.

Anyway why would it be racist for me to paint my face black?

What about when on a military mission under the cover of darkness - that's a tactical defense - to paint my face black.

OK but let's just say I'm a racist if you need to judge me. OK, That's out of the way,

So, if I am a white racist/supremacist Why then would i want to paint myself black!?

Seriously.

"When all one has is a hammer, everything looks like a nail." Don't know who first said this, but libs are sure great at using the racism "hammer."
And what about all the athletes, mostly in baseball and football, who use eyeblack to reduce sun glare?
