MARY THE MOTHER of GOD

That is as blatant heresy as one could ever post. To say that the Son of God, the incarnate deity, the second person of the triune Godhead, the Creator Himself, the Lord of Lords and King of kings, before whom every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord, that HE needed salvation is the greatest blasphemy one could ever commit.

And yet he is allowed to continue posting here. This is not the first time he's spewed heresy. Not by a long shot. Add to that the many times he's questioned the salvation of others, which is against BB rules.

Sorry, Jesus being the "firstborn" meant "the first to be born-again",
i.e. the foist to have the Holy Spirit dwelling within.
(No, the "only-begotten" was not the first ahead of other only-begottens.)

And here we return to my favorite topic ...
-- in the OT, God's anointed had the Spirit come UPON them
-- in the NT, God's BACs had the Spirit come IN them

.

Since have the war drums going - I thought I would ask for clarification.

I assume you do not mean that Christ was a sinner or that He needed salvation, or needed a savior, or had any stain of sin upon Him.

is that correct?

in Christ,

Two meanings ...

The use of “firstborn” is a confirmation of Jesus being called “the only-begotten Son of God”.

“He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible (Father) God, the firstborn over all creation.” (Col 1:15).
“prototokos” (firstborn) here means Jesus was “the first cause, the source of creation”.

Jesus being the source of creation is verified in the very next verse:
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth …” (Col 1:16).

Jesus being the source of creation is also verified in this verse:
“These things says the Amen (Jesus Christ), the Faithful and True Witness,
the Beginning of the creation of God …” (Rev 3:14)

Some Scripture verses say Jesus was the creator of all things, and other verses say
Father God created everything “through” Jesus. Either way, Jesus did the creating.

firstborn from the (spiritually) dead” (Col 1:18, Rev 1:5)

“For whom He (Father God) foreknew,
He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son,
that He (Jesus) might be the firstborn among many brethren.” (Rom 8:29)

Jesus holds the place of honor and pre-eminence among all who have been,
are now, and will be, “born again” spiritually … raised up to inherit eternal life.

“… that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead,
and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.” (Acts 26:23)

It is not a laughing matter to speak ambiguously about God; it is sin!!

Thou shouldest be greatly ashamed of thyself.
I thought thou wert the only one around here with the spiritual discernment to know better.
For shame ... for shame!

Now leaving Moronsville and headin' back to my Starship #2840583.
