matthew 22 Parable wedding Feast/many called few chosen!

Well, being firmly grounded in Paul's Epistles for Gentiles, I would say that this particular parable [Matt 22:1-14] is one that portends that
(genetic) Israel will reject Messiah and then "others" (ie: Gentiles) will be invited to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in their place.
The key verse is vs. 2 "which made a marriage for his son".

Another key verse is v. 11 "And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: ".
In other words, he was not clothed in righteousness, therefore was not "saved".

So, "many are called, but few are chosen" to attend the Marriage Supper of the Lamb refers to the fact that (genetic) Israel
was set-apart and "called", but when Messiah came, they rejected him. Therefore, they will not participate in the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel,
until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
(genetic) Israel
For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. - Rom 11:25-27

Based upon that passage, what did jesus mean by "many are called, but few are chosen?"

The call goes out to many more than those who are actually saved. IOW, some rejected the call, and chose to live in sin. Not that they were left in their already dead state, but chose to deny the call, and remain in their dead state.

He is talking about a wedding feast which has reference to his bride, the church. Many of the elect are called, but few of the elect are chosen. The person that came to the wedding and did not have on the wedding garment (the righteousness of Christ) was not accepted. The many chosen are those of his elect who are depending upon their righteous works for etternal salvation. The same example is given in Matt 7:13-14, Those of God's elect who are depending upon their righteousness are those who go in the wide gate, and those of God's elect who have been revealed the truth by the Holy Spirit and have submitted themselves to the rightiousness of Christ are the ones that go in the strait gate which is the church. These two gates are not teaching us about heaven and hell as most believe. This same example is taught in Romans 10, over which I have been given much ridicule, but nevertheless all three of these examples are not talking about eternal salvation.

So, some of God's elect won't be saved?

I may be very wrong, but you seem to be pushing a doctrine eerily similiar to the "two seed" doctrine.....

God only calls his elect. All who are called are predestinated, justified and glorified, Rom 8:30. This calling is an irristable calling and is given only to his elect because everyone he calls are predestinated, justified and glorified.

"saved" is only a temporal salvation and has nothing to do with heaven or hell according to the gospel of Forest.
I am not saying that, and I think you know that I am not saying that saved only means timely saved. There is an eternal salvation taught in the scriptures which is what Eph 2:8 is talking about. My warning is that all salvation scriptures are not talking about eternal salvation, the matter of fact is that most of the salvation scriptures are refering to timely salvations, so you people, please don't missquote me. you are pretty close to ridiculing me.

Where did I say that some of God's elect will not be saved?

You stated there are two roads for the elect, and the broad road that leads to destruction is for the elect as well. That is the road to hell, don't you know?

Are you advocating the "two seed"/"serpent seed" doctrine? Yes or no. You coming coming very close to this, you know? I read some on it tonight, and the PB's have been known to support it at some point in time.

That is exactly what you have said.

Don't you know that "destruction" does not mean hell? These elect who go in the wide gate are believing in a false doctrine that their righteousness is responsiable in obtaining eternal salvation for them, and there is a destruction of living in fear that their righteousness might not be good enough. All of God's elect who do not understand the truth are living in the destruction of a false doctrine.

We won't be sliding down into Millenual exclusion now, will we?

or into the partial rapture theory?

That ONLY those saints that attained sinless perfection make it on the first go around!

Ok. What is the two seed doctrine?

Belief that satan had sexual intercourse with Eve, and they produced cain, and all his descendants were literally "demon seeds", including the jews!

This is satanic, reversed doctrine of Mormons saying God laid with Mary to produce jesus!

None of this makes any sense. You are speaking Greek here. So if anyone has misrepresented you it may be because your posts are unintelligible. Maybe you should be more specific and clear up your intentions.
