Actually, I would consider the Depression and the early states of WW II to be a time of crises for the USA - yet, by working together, working hard - we did obtain victory!

We dumped Hoover in 1932 over economics so Trump might be dumped in 2020 if we are thrown into a depression by him.

The same party that removed God from their national party platform in 2012. That stated publicly during recent debates that there is no room in their party for pro lifers ( baby lovers).
The same party that stated that immigrant women could legally flee to America, drop anchor babies on American soil, and when that baby draws its first breath, it legally, under the 14th Amendment, be ordained an American citizen, and after breaking into out country, given the right to sue for damages, by suing for due all welfare payments, free medical care, and free education scholarships.
That is just icing on the cake. When a woman is having an abortion, and an aborted baby falls out on the table because of a blotched abortion, even though that baby just drew its first breath on American soil, is denied all medical attention. The democrat party voted that baby as medical waste, not eligible for rights under 14th Amendment.
We could vote for a third party candidate, I guess. But the democrat party is the same party that thumbed their noses at the law on the border, selectively upholding the laws they agree with, creating sanctuary cities across America, defying Immigration laws, ICE, and refusing to turn over illegal immigrant rapists, violent criminals, to proper authorities, thereby endangering US citizens,
As a Christian, I don't have the stomach for another democrat.

Yes, you are right. FDR introduced socialism into this country. Dementia Joe said during the debates that he would be another Obama. He refers to Obama as "our policies." The main tenant of socialism is " redistribution of wealth," In other words, "the rich are evil. Never mind that they create jobs. The rich man is your enemy, not the government." Robin Hood policy of " rob from the rich and give to the poor," That is the whole mantra of the democrat party and socialism. Big government means little people. Little government means big people. All the parties have their flaws. I figure God is neither democrat nor Republican. I figure he hates politics more than me. Obama and Biden are far, far greater socialist than FDR ever dared to be. Biden, like Obama is trying to come off as a moderate. He is not. I would not vote for Trump as the pastor of my church. But I did vote for him as President. I am now going to sign out from this thread. I will make no more posts. We have beaten this white horse to death. I wanted to finish by saying that, although we have found many flaws with many leaders, we have to weigh our beliefs and positions against each political candidate.
I am a Christian. The Bible tells me that every Christian is given a talent. I cannot preach ( I get nervous before crowds) I cannot sing in the choir. I cannot stand up in church and say flowery prayers. I cannot play the piano. I am the only Christian in the world without a talent. But I can speak up against abortion.
There is a story about a small church in WW2 rural Germany near a railroad track. Every Sunday morning the train roared by at the same time as church services. The railroad cars were filled with Jewish women and children, crammed and locked into the boxcars like sardines in a can.
The Christian's could hear the screams of the women and children headed to the gas chambers. So, the church sang a little louder to drown out the noise. When that did not work, they prayed a little louder. Anything to drown out the noise. But, the little church did nothing to stop the killing. They looked the other way. Matter of fact, out of tens of millions of Christian's in Nazi Germany, only a handful of top church leaders, spoke up against Hitler.
Half were executed by Hitler.The other half went to prison. The great Luthern pastor Bonheiffer, who dared to come on the radio to denounce socialism, was one that was executed.
Like the people in the little church by the RR track, I am just little people. I cannot stop the murder of innocent babies. But I have made a decision that I will vote for the candidate that is against abortion. If Donald Trump brings this nation to its kness, destroys this country, sends me into poverty, I will vote for him over any candidate that I BELIEVE is a baby killer. Only a monster could support anyone who would harm a little baby. Forget all other issues. I will leave all true Christian's with Luke 17:2. "It would be better for one to have a millstone hung around his neck and cast into the sea, than that he should harm one of my little ones".
