McCain Criticizes Use of Foreign Money in Romney Campaign

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

McCain, a public supporter of Mitt Romney, did not hold back his criticism of the Romney campaign accepting a $10 million donation from casino mogul Sheldon Adelson. The donation was made by Adelson to Restore Our Future, a pro-Romney political action committee. McCain came out and blasted the billionaire's donation because he claimed the funds were funneled from profits on his casino operations in the Chinese territory of Macau.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Article states that $10M got donated to a pro-Romney PAC and offers no proof that the money was from foreign sources. Simply says that McCain "claims the money" was from foreign sources. Money was in fact donated by a U.S. citizen.

Article notes the Supreme Court has ruled individuals and corporations have the right to make unlimited donations to political action committees.

Meanwhile, Obama took in $15M at one fundraiser in Hollywood recently.

Hmmmmmmmm.....

I hope he gets another 10 million form the same guy in the future. :applause:

McCain's a loser. Why would Romney care what he thinks? So far, it seems that only Obama supporters do.

Mc Cain has ever done two things:
1.) Recieve laud and praise from certain communist media outlets by stabbing his allies in the back.
2.) Failed to realize how stupid and duplicitous most people think he is.

McCain should shut his face.
Good point Lady Eagle. With the results of the 2008 election and the way he ran his campaign, if I was Mitt Romney, John McCain would be the last person I would listen to for advice. Maybe he should solicit campaign advice from Carter, McGovern, Mondale, and Dole also. If Mitt Romney wants to win, he has to do with they did not. In fact, he would be better off with advice from Obama if it were not a conflict of interest. Despite what anyone thinks, Obama did win an election.

McCain is just having sour grapes due to the overturning of his ridiculous campaign finance reform.

Didn't Crabby post this same nonsense a couple of weeks ago?

Sheldon Adelson is a U.S. citizen.

His casino is just one of his many investments.

By Crabby's logic anyone who has invested his 401K in a mutual fund that holds foreign stock is also "contibuting foreign money".

SHAME ON CRABBY FOR PRESENTING THIS DEBUNKED LIE A SECOND TIME.

SHAME - SHAME - SHAME

McCain demonstrates once again his unique ability to show his behind in public. Money is fungible. It is irrational to assert that the money came from overseas! McCain is not stupid, neither are you CTB but you both are irrational!:laugh:

Furthermore, if Romney were to make any remark concerning, or exercise any control over, an independent PAC he would be violating the law.

You got to do better CTB if you are going to make any progress smearing Romney.:laugh:

McCain proved 4 years ago he couldn't criticize Obama!:tonofbricks:

You know, it does make one wonder if there was some smoke-filled back-room deal in that election, does it not?

Seriously, I cannot fathom why McCain did not use the few facts then known about the ZERO in his campaign stumping!!??

I know he (McCain) wanted to run a "clean" race, but the way he handled it seemed just a bit unrealistic by ignoring all the negatives of the ZERO out there.
