Trump has done a lousy job with staff picks. Tillerson supported the Obama deal on Iran, so why was he ever made Secretary of State anyway? As for McMaster, he also would have been more at home in an Obama administration. He should never have been picked by Trump.
Trump is his own worse enemy. He makes bad picks and then has setbacks because of them. He has not secured one penny from Congress to build a wall and that project seems stalled for a couple of years. And then he has bimbo eruptions like Clinton and Kennedy did. And then he says things that get twisted out of shape by the press when he could have been quiet.
However, Hillary had no personal plan except more Obama socialism and she especially hates the common people in the areas hit hardest by the recessions, as she has made very clear in statements all over the world. So Trump is an ally of the conservatives and about the only ally at this time. The Democrats made it clear with Clinton-Lewinsky that they were not going to remove a President for adultery so there is no reason to reason to differ from them as a matter of practical politics when there is no other ally available. Trump was the first choice of only a few Republicans in the primaries but he won the primaries and the general election but many of his cabinet and staff picks were bad.
