Meals on Wheels Seniors Respond to Trump: 'Cut Something Else'

She carried the three million from California, and as a Californian, I get the right to say that the three million who voted for her are far left coast snowflake, kooks! This state is filled with entitled crybabies. So, take away the overall.Cali vote, and Trump wins hands down.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Cali is the liberalist state in the union.

You can say what you want but he still only achieved 46% of the American vote and lost by right at 3 million votes. If that is an acceptable outcome for you then by all means, enjoy these four years because at those numbers, the Republican party is going to have a hard time next election. Especially with a President with a 37% approval rating. The Democrats will more than likely have a much better run at Trump without someone as tainted as Clinton was.

Are you talking about Trump's win? He got less than 46% of the vote and lost the overall vote by 3 million votes. He did win due to the electoral college but that is hardly whipping Clinton.

The object is to win. He won. Hillary Clinton was his opponent. He beat her. It is her fault he won.

Either way, he whipped her.

End of story.

I agree completely and have no idea why you are telling me this? My statements are still plenty valid. It was not an impressive win, he is not a well liked President and as soon as someone who isn't a poor opponent, like Clinton was, comes along, he will no longer be President.

Which is why I said enjoy this four years because at the pace Trump is going he won't have much support anywhere.

You hope.

Democrats have no one that is any better liked than he is.

I hope what? I didn't vote for Trump or Clinton. They have no one yet but a lot can change over the next three years.

:Roflmao

Figures. You're just another Trump hater. Not unique here at all.

You're right. A lot can change, and right now, it looks like the democrats are moving even further left and becoming more violent by the day. Not a good sign for them at all.

I dislike him yes. I also dislike Hillary. What does that have to do with anything? Why is that your only rebuttal? What is that suppose to imply? What is so unique about your posts? Am I suppose to shut up because I dislike the President? Why is that suppose to invalidate my comments, concerns or opinion?

The vocal ones yes they are. Whether that turns out to be who is at the top of the ticket in 2020 remains to be seen?

It's useful to know where you are coming from, because out of hate, you will oppose anything and everything he tries to do. Good or bad for the country won't matter at all. To you it's personal.

Now we know.

You know nothing about me or what drives me to vote and you keep using the word hate like I have it in me for anyone. Please refrain from doing that in the future. I hate no one.

Me disliking policies that a Republican or Democrat has does not equate to hate.

Brent, I see you've met Carpro and his favorite word for anyone that criticizes Trump -- hate. Better get used to it. He's called me a hater so many times I've lost count. Don't bother asking him to quit because he won't.

Brent, I am going to have to disagree with you on this subject. As I am sure you know, there are NO nationally elected offices in the Federal Government. ALL federal offices are elected at the state level or below (Senators at the state level, Representatives at the district level). We are, after all, the United STATES of America.

The same is true for the President and Vice President. There is no "popular vote" for President and Vice President. The states vote for those two offices. In fact there is no way to count the non-existent "popular vote" nor to certify it. It is a product of the news media, not our electoral process.

And President Trump won 30 of the 50 states. And Mrs. Clinton won 20. 30 to 20 is a whipping. It was a sound, solid victory for President Trump.

Allow me to say I think he is a buffoon, an ego maniac, and possibly a narcissist. But he won a resounding victory that caught the other candidate, the news media, even the whole country, by surprise.

And he carried the vast majority of the state offices along on his coat tails. And that, to me, is a "whipping." :)

I guess we will have to disagree. I don't find it impressive to get just 46% of America's vote and lose by just under 3 million votes. He carried a few swing states.

His victory comes in at 46 out of 56 Electoral College elections.

More on the way that the margin of victory when it comes to the Electoral College is determined is here: List of United States presidential elections by Electoral College margin - Wikipedia

I just see no way that a whipping can be concluded from not 1) winning 50% of voters approval (46.1%), losing by nearly 3,000,000 votes (2,868,291), and have an electoral victory margin that puts you between George Bush's 2000 election and Obama's reelection.

When your dislike is based on personal animosity for the author of a policy, it's based on hate. Not the policy itself. When I see that you don't do that, I'll know you have gotten past your personal distaste for the person and are actually looking at what he is doing and whether or not it is good for the country.

I'm looking forward to that happening.

My opinion on cutting this policy has nothing to do with my feelings for Trump. I have clearly laid out when I think it would be acceptable to target a social welfare program like this. When you are expanding social welfare by putting people in jail for non violent drug offenses and taking money away from law abiding citizens I see that as a problem and I disagree with the policy and strategy of doing that.

If you can't do that and would still rather use the word hate when directed at me, then consider this our last interaction.

I've noticed you're really hung up on the prison population. I hate to break this to you , but there is no such thing as a "non violent" drug offense. Someone always gets hurt. Often it's the innocent bystander.

And I haven't found an innocent man in prison yet.

But that's for another thread. As for your empty threat, I couldn't care less if we interact or not if you can't at least be honest with yourself.

None of that is true and this will be my last reply to you. I simply refuse to waste time on those who have all the answers and who behave the way you do. Enjoy the rest of your time here with the others, if they wish to entertain you.

It's all true. Sorry you can't stand to be disagreed with.

As you said, I can say what I want. That door swings both ways. If the three million votes give you some condolences, good for you! To each their own. The truth remains, Trump is POTUS and your girl is still a lying, loser. A candidate who believes she is above the law, and was responsible for four patriot dying in Benghazi, while she covered it up to get her boss re elected. Three million more Americans have poor morals, and chose to vote for a liar.

They don't. I didn't vote for either. Simply explaining my view point that it doesn't impress, to me, a solid win and that in four years, unless improvement is made to his image, he should hope to not face someone with a better reputation than Hillary Clinton.

She isn't my girl. I never voted for her and think of her on the same level as Trump. As far as morals go, neither Trump or Clinton voters voted on morals. If they did they failed themselves in that aspect.

If you continue to insinuate that I have voted for someone or support someone I don't, even after being told so, this will also be my last interaction with you. I have better things to do than to try to have a discussion with someone who can not listen and accept the statements that the other party is saying. It is fine to disagree on issues and policy but it is not ok to tell me I am something I am not.

Well, I am certainly glad you cleared that up. Your message is quite clear. However, am I to assume you didn't vote?
