I wonder if anyone has asked her why she usually wears heels when with the President. Did anyone ever think that maybe, because he is so tall, she felt better being closer to his height?

What astounds me is that the media is melting down over the First Lady's shoes while people are dying, people are starving, people have no potable water, where their homes have been completely destroyed, where mother's have died trying to keep their children alive, first responders have died trying to help others.

I am 350 miles south of Houston and we have refugees from the floods everywhere here. Our churches have opened their doors to house them and feed them and direct them to medical care.

And the media focuses on criticizing the First Lady because of her shoes?

That, to me, points out the unspeakable corruption of the media and their "never Trump" sycophants.

The media is focused on the shoes of FLOTUS because they hate the Trumps and the deplorable people who voted for them and the deplorable people who call for fair play for the Trumps. As usual, the media is a laughingstock, but that will not deter the Trump-haters of either party ever. Tomorrow the Trump-haters will have some more new threads here on the Baptist Board....

As I noted in another thread, she's wearing "tennis" shoes when she's getting off Air Force One.

Exactly!!! But even if she got off the plane in 5" Pradas, it still doesn't matter because likely the First Lady and the President were not walking down where there was 5' of water but instead meeting with the people in shelters and some of the rescue workers. They can fly over other areas in a helicopter but really - I doubt they brought them to flooded homes when they wouldn't let anyone else get near there.
