1% assessed annually? But the senior rate is 43% of that, roughly?

Let's say assessed value is $300,000.00 x .57 (exemption) = $171,000.00 taxable

State - 0.1150 x $171,000 = $19,665 / 100 = $196.65
County - 0.0810 x $171,000 = $13,851 / 100 = $138.51
School - 0.6590 x $171,000 = $112,689 / 100 = $1126.89
Library - 0.0520 x $171,000 = $8.892 / 100 = $88.92
Health - 0.0460 x $171,000 = $7,866 / 100 = $78.66
Extension - 0.0320 x $171,000 = $5,472 / 100 = $54.72
Total taxes this fiscal year (if paid on time) $1,684.35

w/2% discount if paid early $1650.66

Ours are double that in Michigan & we are under what is known as proposal A which if you are still in the home you were in when it passed in the eighties, that residence is supposedly capped for increases, yet our taxes continue to increase. We are taxed twice yearly, summer tax (the biggest) & winter tax. No discount for seniors in Michigan.

Again? When did she run as a third party independent for POTUS?

peace to you
Obviously, she didn’t run as a third party…..but she did run for prez…..so she has aspirations……& she didn’t switch to the repubs…….& she could be a trojan horse….& she will be what she’s always been & none of those things are agreeable to a conservative. Don’t be deceived.

Reminds me of the early 1930s when the government actors went by Al Capone and Baby face and your rulers neutered the 2A with the NFA of 1934. Then again in the early 60's with the assassinations of the Kennedys, MLK and Malcolm X, all government operations that resulted in the 1968 firearms act making you beg permission from said government to even own a firearm.
I am no fan of the sword but I know the works of satan when I see them.

Joe Prich is an idiot if he really believes Sandy Hook didn’t happen.

Im no fan of government over reach, but reality cannot be ignored.
