A witch can summon the souls of the elect? Matthew Henry has a good exposition of the account of the witch of Endor.

a witch CANNOT summon Samuel, but it would appear that the Lord did, in order to have final condemnation to saul!

Would see this as being one time exception that God allowed to happen!

This can cause ketone bodies to build up in the blood which can cause hallucinations.

One's mind is already predisposed to thinking about the loved one so its not out of the question that their mind can play tricks on them during this time.

agree! under medication and stressed out, can see just about anything, almost like dream scape!

IF not that though, all other 'experiences" would be demonic in origen!
