President Trump has an uncooperative Congress who will not lift a finger to help with the border crisis.

Everyone agrees we have a crisis and everyone agrees we need a permanent solution but they will not help Trump find one.

So Trump is going it alone (even the GOP Senators are against his tariff threat) and guess what it?

Mexican soldiers, armed police and migration officials blocked hundreds of migrants after they crossed the border from Guatemala in a caravan into southern Mexico on Wednesday, and detained dozens of them, a witness from a migrant aid group and an official said.

The Mexican response in the border town of Metapa, which included dozens of soldiers, marked a toughening of the government’s efforts to curb the flow of mainly Central American migrants, said Salva Cruz, a coordinator with Fray Matias de Cordova.

“That many sailors and military police, yes, it’s new,” Cruz said, by WhatsApp, from Metapa, in the southern border state of Chiapas, where the vast majority of migrants from Central America cross into Mexico. Many are asylum seekers fleeing violence and poverty in Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.

The operation in Chiapas coincided with a meeting of Mexican and U.S. officials at the White House on Wednesday to thrash out a deal that would avoid blanket tariffs on Mexico threatened by U.S. President Donald Trump last week.

From The Gateway Pundit: Mexico on Wednesday dispatched a special unit made up of 200 military police, immigration agents and federal officers to cut off a group of more than 1,000 migrants from Central America outside the town of Metapa to confront the caravan. State and local police accompanied the team.

“While the vast majority of the migrants complied with law enforcement directives and boarded buses and immigration agency vehicles, some resisted and were wrestled to the ground by unarmed agents,” the Daily Mail wrote.

An immigration official at the site who was not authorized to speak publicly said the migrants would initially be taken to an immigration detention center in Tapachula. It appeared 600 to 800 migrants were being transported.

Mexico’s effort to curtail the constant flow of Central American migrants from its southern border with Guatemala was its latest response to threats from President Trump, who has promised to impose high tariffs on America’s southern neighbor if it fails to put an end to illegal immigration. …

The French Foreign Legion could clean up all of Mexico but I think that they should pull out of Afghanistan and go to Paris but I am not sure that they can be sent inside France.

Communist Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) is dumber than Vox's Communist boss Carlos Maza. The Mexicans voted AMLO in and in a stunning bit of buyers' remorse they all want out of the country with the economy already in recession and six more years to go of AMLO.

Of course, the US Chamber of Commerce owns the Republican Senate and they want cheap labor no matter what happens to American citizens. In Los Angeles there are now 59,000 homeless Americans sleeping on the sidewalks. Drugs are pouring in from Mexico and fueling mass shootings everyday, which are not reported much unless the shooter is white. Yet California wants more cheap labor as well as more illegal votes for Democrats.

AMLO's calling up the exhausted Mexican military from the cartel fighting to break up the caravans and seal the border has the actual effect of trapping the destitute inside communist Mexico just as AMLO sends communist refugees from Cuba back to 88 year-old Raul Castro to starve and torture to death in Cuba, which American Democrats think is a socialist paradise such as Bernie Sanders, another communist, wants to impose on the American people. AMLO, who had now made it clear that he hates the USA in general and Trump in particular, thought that he would just send a few million Mexicans to the USA so that he could re-instate the nationalization of the old-time revolutionary party PRI and establish his friends in big jobs the way that President Carlos Salinas sold the Mexican telephone company for next to nothing to one of the richest men in the world Carlos Slim, who also is an avid Trump hater and now lives on the French Riviera.

AMLO never imagined that an American would forego the pleasures of cheap labor, the drugs, and the prostitution from Mexico. If the USA shuts down the border, the Mexican economy really comes to a standstill. It may anyway because people are saying that Mexican car parts are very inferior to even Chinese junk. I don't know if people still vacation in Mexico but I don't want to go there. How is AMLO going to build his Soviet Mexico?

We need more Americans like President Trump to stand up to Mexico. Build the wall.

The world and indeed, our own Congress is not used to the attribute of courage. And that is sad given that some of them served in the military. They are used to talking and little to no action. They are not used to a president who simply doesn't take it off our enemies or our allies.

I can imagine that our members of Congress have foreign investment interests that they are protecting and so foreign interests have them over a barrel. They dare not upset those foreign powers in whose countries, they have a financial interest. It's likely one reason why our members of Congress cannot find the spine or the courage to keep other countries from fleecing the US. There are other reasons, but that is probably a big one.

Republicans are some of the most spineless, weak and pathetic Senators and Representatives we have. I expect that out of the Democrats as the Democrats would sell Americans into slavery if they thought they could. But Republicans have proven themselves to be no better and most of them need to replaced as soon as we can.

It would be nice to actually have REAL Americans in Congress, for once and not the weak, corrupt, immoral bunch we have.

There is an old saying, "Members of Congress should be changed as frequently as changing diapers, and for the same reason."

Oh, this point has been made many times about how much illegals cost us in medical care, welfare, education, food stamps, and prison costs. It is as if someone were kicking your door in everyday. Eventually, it would be cheaper to put him in prison than to redo your door everyday. If there would be a national appeal for donations, the money would be raised quickly.

We will but the sayings from having millions more illiterate illegal aliens will more than pay for it. We could force Mexico to pay for it by taxing remittances to Mexico. Mexico is already in recession and their failure to export narcotics to the USA as well as their outcasts will also damage them and force them to address their racist society of the last 100 years since their revolution. Their industrial output is of low quality. I would gladly donate to a national campaign to raise money to build the wall if Trump were to endorse such a campaign.

With the economic levelling off of the last couple of months, I don't see how we have any use for more illegal aliens.

Of course, New Jersey probably could use another million illiterates illegal aliens to pump gas for them at the filling stations, right?

I would prefer to arrest them all and use them to crack rocks. Failing that, yes charge them back. BTW, both Quick Check and Wawa only hire US citizens to pump gas... which is nice when it’s 10 below and sleeting.

I wish that I could say that the hundreds of warehouse in the Indianapolis area only hired American citizens. E-Verify is a joke in some of those places, all of whom are cold and dirty

On the subject of pumping gas in bad weather, most of them have roofs that you drive under. I seldom let my tank get less than half full. Do they still check you oil, tire pressure, and clean your windshield?

What the US should be telling Mexico is: "It is really, really simple. You stop ALL of the illegals from Honduras, Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador from coming to our border, or we impose tariffs. If you want to avoid tariffs and you don't want this to get any messier than it already is, your singular task is to make sure no illegals make it up to our border." That's the "deal" we are offering you. This is not a debate or a discussion. This is a warning. If you fail, you get tariffs."
