we've seen many times, and just recently also, that being rich you can buy your way out of anything. And thats what he did.

You defend those who murder their children, you defend homosexuality, and now pedophiles.
Does being a liberal requires the sacrifice of children or something?
<pa deleted - LE> I never defended homosexuality. Michael Jackson was found not guilty and acquitted. Those are the facts, whether you like them or not. Your personal opinion does not supercede the findings of the jury who sat through the trial and heard the evidence.

Does being a neocon require being <pa deleted LE>?

Maybe not too faulty after all...

"On January 25, 1994, Michael Jackson settled the civil lawsuit paying an undisclosed amount to his accuser. Many believe that he paid between 15 and 20 million dollars. After receiving the settlement, the boy refused to testify in any criminal matters. Therefore, the prosecution was not able to pursue a criminal case."

Different case.

And a settlement doesn't equate to guilt. Often, accusers are paid to shut up and go away. Which makes the case that DID go to trial more likely, since a fat settlement would embolden others.

None of us know if the alleged incidents occurred or not. But it is slander to call someone a pedophile who has not been convicted of such.

Maybe so, but it is very rare for a child to lie about s*xual abuse. At the very least, Jackson admitted to letting children sleep with him in his bed. I would be livid if that were my child in his bed!!!!!!

Has anyone else besides me noticed that these death's usually happen in three's? Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson all in a week.

The same thing happened in the Christian realm when we lost Jerry Falwell, D. James Kennedy, and Adrian Rogers all in a fairly short timeframe.

How tragic when we see one go out into eternity seemingly in a lost condition. But also how tragic to see child pushed into a world of either sports or entertainment without a chance to develope relationships with its peers and parents which in most events result in denying the right of a normal childhood. If we could have access to all the facts in MJ'S life we would probably see that this played a big part. Judy Garland, Spanky, Buckwheat and the rest of "OUR GANG" is more evidence.

The death of Jackson knocked that of Fawcett off the news channels as well as Gov. Sanford's adultery. With two wars, trouble with Iran and North Korea, and "bo"s obsession with socialism I cannot understand why the cable news channels would devote hours to coverage of this persons death. Neither can I understand the apparent facination of some on this Forum!

Almost anything, but not anything as I believe Mr. Jackson would testify tonight.

There are important things going on in the world, North Korea has threatened to attack the US with nuclear weapons, Iran is killing it's people in the streets, Israel is threatened on all sides, the US is falling apart before our eyes and so many others. Yet in the midst of all this all news stations have gone to 24-7 Jackson coverage that may last for days or weeks.

Mr. Jackson had a great God given talent that he utterly wasted in pursuit of his own lusts. He degenerated into a perverted predator of children and a perfect example of how void success, fame and wealth are without Christ.

I pray for the families and friends of both deceased. I also would like to see more on Farrah. I think she earned and deserved better.

Donna... Michael did have weaknesses as do we all. That is not what is being glorified. He had another side which made him a world icon.

It is possible to hate the sin and still acknowledge the sinner is a person. I don't find where the Bible says this isn't possible.
