A teacher in Michigan was fired after tweeting simply that President Donald Trump is the president.

Justin Kucera of Walled Lake School District, about 30 miles northwest of Detroit, faced the wrath of the school’s administration and was told to either resign or be fired after tweeting on July 6: “I’m done being silent. [Donald Trump] is our president. Don’t @ me,” according to The Washington Free Beacon.

If this transpired as the coach says, then he has an excellent chance of winning a wrongful termination suit. Political opinions — unless they violate school policy — are fair game for expression.

It is odd that " ... he noted that other teachers have tweeted negative opinions against Trump and haven't received the same censure."

We have no idea what else he said or what was said to him on his Twitter feed.

If his rights were violated he should be reinstated on compensated. Hard to tell rom this distance because the district can't try the case in public.

Somebody has never been a teacher.

He only has a chance if he has tenure. And that is only a snowballs chance in a furnace.

Without tenure, a teacher can be fired without cause and won't win diddly and no lawyer will take his case.

That lack of that thinking didnt stop thousands from protesting a few weeks ago.
Well, I believe the radicals know exactly what they are doing and have a well thought out plan.

I’m hoping most Americans have seen through it.

We will know in November how widespread the ignorance is.

peace to you

We need to really pray and express the biblical viewpoints on how all that is happening, and mobilze the vote, or else will end up Nov 4 in a nation who will soon be driven of the cliff and into the terminal ditch!

I personally believe UNLESS we Christians really pray FOR our president/country, whether you reject some of his language or not, there's a great chance that, with all the left's expertise at cheating, we will have another FULLY dem government.
Frankly, I do NOT like to listen to Trump, but that is easy enough to remedy; however I DO like his actions, and consider them to be so far ahead of the left that there's no comparison!

I would agree that some of the organizers had a general ideal -
but the rank and file - were just let loose.....

and yes - November will be very interesting
